a Community offering a unique quilting experience

Barbara Gavlick Hartnett chose four high contrasting colors in teal, purple, yellow, and orange to create her lively Jacks quilt. Your choices may be different, but be sure the contrast is good.

Save your print and neutral background scraps. Cut them into 3-7/8" squares to make Joan Ballard’s My Sister’s Scraps.

The Little Green Leaf

Our little green leaf indicates that The Quilt Pattern Magazine (TQPM) is an environmentally-friendly publication.
TQPM is digital-only, so no trees are cut down to produce it. No paper is wasted in its production. Think of all the trees that are being saved!
All TQPM pages have a white background. They are not decorative. This means that when a quilter prints a pattern or template, there is no unnecessary use of ink.
Many quilters can view pattern directions on their sewing room computers and only have to print templates when needed.
TQPM is better for the environment by implementing a green lifestyle. It doesn't completely eliminate the use of paper, but decreases it considerably.
Because TQPM is digital-only, it is more economical, so it saves you money.
